Digg and Del.icio.us

Here are a couple excellent sites for bloggers and surfers. First, digg.com allows users to sumbit and vote for articles. This increases viewership of these articles, and allows one to find others with similar interests. Second is del.icio.us. This site has created a unique way of bookmarking that not only allows you to share your bookmarks and favorite articles, but it has unique ways of adding releveant materials to ones own blog through the use of widgets. Again, like digg, this allows a blogger to reach a new audience and find others with similar interests. If McCain bloggers take advantage of these tools it can help increase exposure to ones own site as well bring more attention to pro-McCain articles and groups.

There is easy registration at both sites just click on the following links...

More deatiled 'how to' articles to come.

Thanks to bamapachyderm.com for the heads up and overview of digg and del.icio.us.

Adding Meta Tags to a Blog

Meta tags are one of the things
search engines use to classify your blog. The way you fill out your tags
helps determine how your site appears
in search engines like Google and Yahoo. Here's what title and meta tags
look like...

MV08 Blogger Request

In order to expand the rolls of the McCainVictory08.com group we hope bloggers will consider adding the email sign up box to their site. The blue box and link to the copy and paste code are available in the right-hand margin.

Also, campaigns obviously need money and it would certainly be appreciated if bloggers would provide a link to the McCain campaign's donation form. Copy and paste codes are below in the previous post (and also available through the side links).

Space is often a premium on blogs, so thank you for your willingness to add these pro-McCain items to your site.

Hopefully Pro-McCain bloggers will be willing to add a donation graphic/link to their site to help with fundraising efforts. Just copy and paste the code below the graphic for these graphic links to appear on your site. The graphics can be resized. If you need help in fitting them into your blog please leave a comment asking for help.

McCain Blogger Resources

This blog exists as a repository for McCain Blogger Resources. A collection of graphics, links, widgets, and feeds to make it easy for pro-McCain bloggers. There will also be guides and 'how to' articles to help out first time or new bloggers. Please let us know if you'd like a blog, but aren't comfortable with the technical aspects. We have people who are willing to create blogs so that all the owner has to do is write and/or post articles, i.e. no set up necessary.
